Scorpions defender Lamin ‘Basmen’ Samateh has found himself a new club after penning a two-year deal with promoted Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 side Club Olympique de Médenine.
The former Steve Biko, NK Lokomotiva Zagreb and Kuopion Palloseura defender has been a free agent since leaving Slovakian side FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce in 2015.

The 25-year-old Gambia international defender impressed coach Afouène Gharbi and his staff while on trial before he was offered a deal that will see him stay at the club until 2019.
The 6ft 1in defender is expected to make his debut on Saturday when the team hosts CA Bizertin, who reportedly have Alieu Darbo in their ranks.

CO Médenine gained promotion to the Tunisian top-flight last season after finishing third on the standings before winning their promotion play-off match 2-0 against AS de La Marsa in June.
They play their home matches at the 6000-capacity Stade Olympique Salaheddine-Ben Hmida, located in the south-east of Tunisia.
