First things first, let me begin by congratulating The Gambia Football Federation, the home-based scorpions and the technicians on Friday evening's one nil victory over Mauritania in the build-up to this year's CHAN. By the time of publishing this piece, am sure a lot would have been scripted and said about the outcome of that friendly encounter. With that preparatory game now out of sight, I have other things in mind, most especially for two men whose work could be key to shaping the direction of our football.
