The new US charge d'affaires to Banjul, Ambassador Joseph D Stafford, has said that the establishment of the American Chamber of Commerce in the country represents the collective desire of The Gambia and the United State to establish better trade and business relations. Ambassador Stafford who was one time US Ambassador to The Gambia, arrived in Banjul a week today to replace former charge d'affaires, George M Staples.
