Jammeh meets Saudi Crown Prince

Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who is also the deputy premier and minister of defence, received at his palace yesterday President, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Yahya Abdul Aziz Jammeh of The Gambia and the accompanying delegation.

Over US$11m World Bank grant for Gambian education

The World Bank has approved to give The Gambia government an International Development Assistance grant amounting to US$11.9 million to support the country's new education project, a news release from the Bank's Banjul Office revealed. The Results for Education Achievement and Development (READ) project is a joint partnership with the World Bank and the government whose contribution to the project amounts to US$16 million over four years....
