Every nation owes its continuity and progress to its young people who are the future leaders, hence the need for the creation of a conducive and safe environment for our children to grow up in. However, despite this glaring fact, children remain the most vulnerable amongst the human family which leaves them in greater need of protection. So the protection and promotion of the rights of the child, becomes binding and obligatory upon the state, as well as individual citizens.
