The Ebola Virus Disease is again resurfacing and our region is seeing a sharp spike in Ebola infections in recent days. The news has not been entirely pleasant. In Sierra Leone, Vice President Sam Sumana has placed himself in quarantine following the death of one of his bodyguards from Ebola. This was confirmed by a government spokesman in that country as they reintroduce travel restrictions to combat the spread of the virus.
