Jahmiel embarks on US tour then off to Gambia

Wrapping up 2017 with a growing catalogue, Jahmiel delivered a solid body of work, which has resulted in him being billed for some of the major festivals in Europe and headed to Africa for the first time.
The rising Jamaican singer who is currently preparing to embark on his first US tour titled, ‘Strongest Soldier’, is set to hit 15 cities over three weeks.

While on his Strongest Soldier Tour, Jahmiel will make stops in Arizona, Kansas City, Oakland, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Raleigh and Charlotte just to name a few.
Immediately following this tour Jahmiel will head to The Gambia, where he is set to perform at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, Standard Lite has been reliably informed.
However, we are yet to confirm the exact date.

Known for his uplifting and inspiring songs about life and taking a better road to success, Jahmiel is looking forward to his Gambia visit as it will availed him the chance to show fans his other side.
The trip to The Gambia will also give the dancehall sensation an opportunity to partake in some charitable work as well as connect with some of the youths who his songs resonate with.

“I’m pleased at the direction my career is going and the ability to show growth over the past two years. Going to The Gambia is something I have been looking forward to since we received the call last year and looking forward to delivering and greeting my fans,” says Jahmiel.
Jahmiel is set to perform at the 25th anniversary of Rebel Salute tommorow Saturday 13 January. This will be his first-time returning since his introduction by the Gully Gad, Mavado to the Rebel Salute crowd.

 

Brief bio
Jamiel Foster who started out as Culture Jamiel and now known simply Jahmiel is a rising star. Born 30 August 1992 in Portmore, St Catherine, he grew up with the love for music. He attended Jose Marti Technical High School and is now pursuing his dreams as one of Jamaica’s finest recording artistes.
From the age of four, Jamiel’s father recognised his passion for music as he would always be singing to his own tunes and lyrics. His love for music grew, listening to uplifting and enlightening sounds of musicians such as Bob Marley, Buju Banton, Junior Gong and Sizzla.
