Mandingmorry Foundation signs 2 artistes

Mandingmorry Foundation, a group dedicated to empowering young artistes explore their hidden talents, over the weekend signed two young Gambian artistes for a period of two years.
Mariama Cham and Pa Dembo Ceesay, alias Silver P, are the latest beneficiaries to be enrolled in the foundation.

The executive director of Mandingmorry Foundation, Ebrima Ceesay, explained at the signing ceremony that the objective of his foundation was to promote excellence in the performing arts and empower young people to gain livelihood through music.

“We need to go back to the basics if we want to move The Gambia music school,” he enthused.
Also speaking, Dembo Kambi, the chairman of the National Youth Council, acknowledged that Mandingmorry Foundation plays a crucial role in empowering and harnessing the potentials of young people especially those with passion for music.

Muhammed Sumareh, the production manager of Mandingmorry Foundation, reminded all that the purpose of the music school is to train young people develop a career in music.
Mariama Cham Silver P thanked the foundation for according them the opportunity to develop their musical talent.
