Nat Easy is a versatile emerging dancehall act with potential to take over the country’s dancehall genre. The fast-rising dancehall entertainer possesses a unique style that opens up unlimited chances for him on the country’s music scene.
Born Ibrahim Kalilu Singhateh, Nat Easy grew up listening to veteran acts such as Inspector Panachie Chow, Rebellion De Recaller, Benjamin and other international Jamaican acts like Anthony B, Buju Banton, Capleton and incarcerated dancehall performer Vybz Kartel.
“My aim is to the push the industry forward because all I believe in is to work and if we come together we will go far. I want to promote Gambian music to the world stage and that is from the bottom of my heart,” he told Standard Lite midweek.
As a youngster, Nat Easy has always held a dream of carving a career in music and has been building up his repertoire since 2014.

He explains: “Since then my talent and vision keeps growing like a wildfire. I’m a revolutionary in the sense I want to fight against the negative vices and bad vibes. I started singing at a tender age as I always love to listen to music. Right now, I have recorded ten singles for a mixtape or an album. I started recording in 2014.
“I want to be a musical trendsetter for the betterment of our communities and the nation at large. From the love of music, I was chosen by God, Who planted in me this wonderful talent to inspire.”
Nat Easy has released numerous hit singles such as, Music Ami Life, We Dem Flavour, Your Touch and his anthem Dekabi, which takes on challenges confronting youths. Since its release, the song has been a showcase of his massive potential to the music-loving public.
