In an exclusive with Standard Lite, Pa Malick Mbye, CEO of Mam Diarra Production, the promoter of the concert, said the event is going to be exceptional “knowing that Omah Lay is the most listened-to artiste in Nigerian music right now. He has been on the top list songs on audio Mac, Apple music, and many other entertainment apps.”

In addition to Omah Lay, the organisers are setting an impressive line-up of The Gambia’s top three rap artistes to be at the groundbreaking event.

“It’s been a while since Gambians had such a line-up within the Gambian artistes and we came through to make it happen by bringing ST, Attack, and Jizzle and others to perform,” Mr Mbye said.

Known for diligence in giving the best to music lovers at the perfect time, Mam Diarra Production sets the clock ticking after a long while without a party due to the pandemic.

“Keeping a promise to the Gambian people that I will do my best to make sure we give them the best of entertainment. We are anticipating a massive turnout for the concert as people are even doubting if QCity would be big enough for the concert,” he said. Tickets are already out!
