One Gibril Camara a victim who was robbed with violence yesterday testified against three suspects he allegedly attacked him at his compound gate and took his mobile phone.
The suspects Ebrima Yaffa, Sheriff Jatta and Alagie Bah are accused of attacking and stabbing the witness with a knife and robbing him of his mobile phone, a Samsung Galaxy J2 at his compound gate before running away.
 The trio who appeared before Justice AT Osai at the Kanifing High Court is facing two counts ranging from conspiring to commit a felony to robbery. During yesterday’s hearing, the victim narrated how he was ambushed by the suspects on November 13th at Manjai Kunda and how they chased and eventually arrested them.
He explained that after giving his statement at the Bakoteh police station, he was assigned with some task force members to find the suspects.
“So we went around searching for them and luckily we found them at a local Coffee shop. I was able to recognise Papa also known as Sheriff [the second accused person] but when they saw us they tried to run and we chased them into a garage where they hide,” the victim told the court. He said they spotted Ebo Yaffa also known as Ebrima Yaffa [the second accused and arrested him followed by the others.
The matter is adjourned to 2nd February 2022 for hearing to continue.
