The former permanent secretary at the Ministry of Interior Bulli Dibba bade farewell to staff of the ministry.
Mr Dibba said his goodbyes Tuesday – after over one year at the ministry.
The top technocrat, during a highly emotional farewell ceremony held at the Ministry’s offices in Kotu, praised staff of the ministry for their effort towards the success of the department.
“I want to apologise if I have offended anyone, even as I have forgiven anyone who has offended me,” Dibba told staff at the ministry.

According to him, he was happy to have worked with those at the ministry as he wished them well.
Dibba arrived at the ministry as permanent secretary in 2017 and embarked on a series of security sector reform projects.
As permanent secretary, Dibba worked hard towards ensuring security institutions under Interior are repositioned, in line with President Adama Barrow’s change agenda.
Meanwhile, staff at the interior ministry have hailed Bulli Dibba for providing exemplary leadership during his time as permanent secretary.
