Two former members of Yahya Jammeh’s AFPRC military junta, Yankuba Touray and another, unnamed, have been summoned by the Janneh Commission, The Standard has learned.
A reliable source close to the commission revealed that the two men have been summoned to shed light on some matters regarding their dealing with Jammeh. Our source however would not say whether they have received the summons and when they are due to appear.

“All I can confirm is that they have been summoned and their letters have been dispatched but I am not sure if they have got their summons nor can I give you dates of their testimonies,” our source said.
Mr Touray is said to be based at his native village in Badibbu engaged in farming and trading. He was a pioneering and influential member of the Jammeh era until he fell out with the former president who kicked him out of his subsequent cabinet.
