Janneh Commission extended to November

The commission of inquiry probing the financial dealings of the former President Yahya Jammeh, has been extended to 30 November 2018 to wrap up the proceedings, reliable sources told The Standard.
Our source who is privy to a communication on the matter said the decision to extend the life of the Commission is to “complete public hearing and the compilation and the writing of its report.”
This signals the end of the mandate of the Commission which started since July 2017.
This extension is the third since the inception of the Commission in July 2017 and will be the last.
