By Amadou Jadama The newly elected deputy national chairman of the National Convention Party (NCP) Sutay SF Jammeh, has said the NCP has an unrivaled record of being a among the parties which have never committed any corruption or human rights violation in The Gambia. Mr Jammeh, who was elected last week at the party’s congress at the Friendship Hotel, said the NCP is not a new party in this country and its founder the late Sheriff Mustapha Dibba laid down good principles for the party “and even the country to operate and in addition to immensely contributing to the socio economic advancement of the country.” He disclosed that Sheriff Dibba was a very hard working man in the buildup to Independence alongside Jawara and he deserved a good place in the country’s history. “NCP is not dead. By the will of Allah NCP will be a factor in any future Government in this country,” he said. Mr Jammeh called on Gambians to support president Barrow and his government and to put an end to the hostility inter party rivalry. Sutay Jammeh is a native of Mandory in Central Baddibu in North Bank Region. He studied both French and English in Paris and London, respectively and advanced diploma in peace and conflict studies and a post graduate diploma in public administration.]]>
