Nuha Makwar, 33, from Bundung, who has, like many Gambian youths, taken the risky journey to Italy through the Mediterranean Sea, has revealed to the UK-based Daily Mirror the desperate and hopeless situation the migrants are facing after being held for up to two years in a compound for asylum seekers.
