Some staff working for the five-star hotel Ocean Bay at Cape Point, Bakau, have complained to this reporter that most of their contracts were not officially renewed last January and subsequently they have not been paid salaries since. One of the staff who spoke to this reporter under a condition of anonymity said: “We are family men and women and if the new management did not extend our contracts, what are we going to do? We have not been paid salaries….
