Omar Jallow, the leader of the People's Progressive Party and a former agriculture minister under the former PPP regime, has said the Food and Agricultural Organisation's (FAO) recent award to The Gambia for outstanding progress in fighting hunger and reaching international targets ahead of the end-of-2015 deadline “is a joke”.
