The unfortunate attack on State House on December 30, 2014 appears to have brought out the best in the government and people of The Gambia as far as the issue of peace and security goes. As soon as news broke of the act of a group of Gambian dissidents from the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom who are behind the botched attack, the government and the people were quick to condemn the attack – with many describing it as 'regrettable'.
