3 Real players join Liberian champions

Real de Banjul has confirmed it has agreed a deal with Liberian champions Liscr FC for the transfer of three players Bully Drammeh, Arona Jabang and Adama Sabally.

A statement on the club’s website said the two sides reached an agreement recently after Liscr’s Gambian coach Mustapha Manneh showed interest in the trio.

The trio have all signed three-year contracts with the Liberian team who are seeking to bolster their attacking and defensive options ahead of the new Liberian season and Caf Champions League.

Bully Drammeh who joined Real de Banjul in 2015 from Brikama United is an exciting winger who featured regularly for the senior national team ‘Scorpions’ and he is looking forward to joining his new teammates.
“I’m happy to sign for Liscr and looking forward to joining my new teammates in Liberia”. Bully told www.realdebanjul.gm

Defender Adama Sabally was part of the Gambia U-17 team that won gold in Algeria during the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in 2009 and has three league titles to his name two of which is with Real de Banjul.
Nesta as he is fondly called spent the second half of last season with his former club Brikama United helping them finish in mid-table.

“I want to thank Real de Banjul for giving me the opportunity to return to Brikama United last season and get more minutes under my belt and that has helped me to return to my best thus impressing the manager (Tapha)”. He told the club website.

Defender Arona Jabang won the league in 2014 with Real de Banjul has been a regular in the side.
Club President William Abraham said of the trios transfer: “I am happy that we’ve been able to sort out the future of the three players who have served Real de Banjul with pride.

Real de Banjul is always leading the way when it comes to helping our youths and promoting Gambian football beyond our borders and we wish them all the best in Liberia with Liscr”.
Liberian International Shipping and Corporate Registry FC (Liscr FC) is based in Gardnersville, Monsterrado County. They’re three times Knockout and League Champions the most recent one was last season.
