The National Sports Council, NSC, and National Youth Council, NYC, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports will organise the 5th national youth and sports summer camp in Soma LRR.
The annual event is expected to attract 80 children between the ages of 10 – 15 from all the seven regions.
This year’s event will start from August 30 to 5 Sept during which children will be introduced to some educational programs that is aimed at widening their horizons.
“They will be taught on their rights and responsibilities, importance of education, discipline, hard work, personal hygiene, IT and love of country, ” said Ebou Secka of the NSC. He further said that the camp is a good initiative with some old campers now holding positions in various institutions.
