The Brufut Marathon the organizers of the annual Brufut marathon run recently presented stationeries to Brufut Primary School,a gesture necessitated by a request from the school authorities.
The materials were received by the Deputy Headmaster. Kebba Jammeh who encouraged the BMR to continue the goodwill gesture. He used the opportunity to thank the BMR for the support. Ousman Sannoh the Chief Organizer of the famous run said this is one of the many support BMR rendered to the Brufut Primary School in various forms over many years.
He disclosed that the usual area of intervention by the BMR was paying school fees for the needy students, but this need has changed -due to the fact that the government is paying school fees for all students in the secondary schools – to providing educational materials to the needy students and therefore the BMR is on the process of procuring school uniforms to the identified needy students of Brufut Primary School.
