Top Gambian football academy HANS FOOTBALL ACADEMY recently signed a partnership and collaboration protocol with SMASH SENEGAL, a reputable football academy with links in Europe and elsewhere.
The purpose of the protocol is to determine the conditions granted by the two parties for a positive collaboration in order to help young footballers licensed by the HANS Academy to obtain a professional contract in a foreign club, particularly in Europe.
The two clubs also agreed that the protocol will be due for renewal after every three years.
Hassan Badjie, the founder and president of HANS FOOTBALL ACADEMY who was in Dakar for the signing, said the collaboration between the two clubs would help open opportunites for young Gambian players through HANS Academy.”We are delighted to be part of this important and timely collaboration,” he said. Mr Badjie congratulated SMASH SENEGAL and expressed hope for a long and fruitful collaboration.
Mr Xavier BENICHOU, the manager pf SMASH SENEGAL SARL, expressed similar sentiments.
The signing ceremony was preceded by demonstration matches between the players of the two clubs in front of lots of football scouts.
