The High court in Banjul will this morning treat an injunction filed against the August 18 Gambia Football Federation elections.
According to judicial sources the injunction was filed by the 5 disqualified candidates of the opposition Malick Sillah-Camp who are asking the court to stop Mr Dodou Joof, the chairman of the GFF Electoral Committee, Lamin Kaba Bajo the President of the GFF and the GFF itself from conducting the said elections until their complaints are heard. The people who are behind the injunction claimed that their disqualifications were not based on the Constitution or other laws of the GFF.

Our sources said the matter will be heard before a high court judge at 10 am this morning when both parties will argue their case. The respondents in the case will counter that the entire process has been done according to the laws.
Our sources said the GFF is represented by Lawyer Lamin Camara while those who instituted the injuction are represented by Sheriff Kumba Jobe
