As the national team, the Scorpions welcome Central African Republic in a friendly Friday, their women counterparts the national women’s team, the girls Scorpions, are in no mood for any friendly fire.
They must get down to real business because they are starting the qualifiers for the African Nations Cup for women away to Burkina Faso on April 7.

Since the draw paired them with Burkina last year, the Girls Scorpions have been preparing themselves for this date which is only two weeks away. Their recent preparation took them to Guinea Bissau where heroine Adama Tamba inspired them to destroy the host 4-1 to raise much confidence.
The Girls have been booked to fly out on Sunday April 1 for a few days training in Morocco and after the match in Ouaga on April 7, both teams will head to Banjul hot foot for the return leg slated for April 10.
