Three Gambian youth to attend US-sponsored leadership programme

On Friday, March 21, three Gambian youth leaders – Isatou Jallow, Mariama Jallow, and Momodou Jallow – departed for the United States as part of the US State Department's Pan-Africa Youth Leadership Program (PAYLP). The PAYLP offers secondary school youth and adult educators from up to 38 countries in sub-Saharan Africa the opportunity to explore the themes of civic education, youth leadership development, community engagement, and respect for diversity through a three-week, intensive exchange in the United States.
