By 2018, the age old Bamba-Tenda Yelli-Tenda ferry crossing point will be a thing of the past. In its place will be an ultra-modern high quality bridge. The African Development Bank, ADB, is funding this massive project which will not only stop at construction of a bridge but also transform the entire infrastructure and the lives of the people on both banks of the River Gambia.
