According to the GFF constitution, stakeholders should be informed of the candidates two weeks before the date for elections of a president. In this case September 6th. Over the past few days since nominations closed, the NC members have been cocooned at Football House brooding over complex issues dealing with the elections process with an announcement on their decisions getting ever closer.
However, the NC has so far not commented on when it would make the announcement though there emerged suggestions in some quarters that the announcement could be made within the next 24 hours.
