Banjul Nawettan update

This evening’s fxixture  brings Tesito against G-Unit while Babylon and Jamsen slug it out tomorrow Friday. Meanwhile the organizing committee has once again published its periodic journal covering all matters arising from the Nawettan. The latest edition announced the imposition of fines and sanctions on a number of teams and players among other stories. Read the journal and the full knock- out draw below: 

 

FIREHOUSE FC

Modou Sarr one of the technical staff of Firehouse is suspended from the bench, behind the bench, to enter dressing room and football ground for 3 consecutive matches as result of been sent off the bench for indiscipline and unruly behavior during your match against Digi Dambi on Saturday 11th October. 

MACDONALD CITY FC

Omar Jarju one of the technical staff of Macdonald City is suspended from the bench, behind the bench, to enter dressing room and football ground for 3 consecutive matches as result of been sent off the bench for indiscipline and unruly behavior during your match against Man City on Thursday 9th October. 

 

MAKANN BI FC

It was found that during your match against Jamesen on Saturday, 11th September, the goal scored by Muhammed Joof, he celebrated it by climbing on the perimeter fence with the supporters of the team which is in violation of the rules and regulations. As such the team is fine D500 payable before of your next match.

 

REGISTRATION WINDOW OPENS

The registration window to register extra five (5) players is open and will be close on Monday, 20th October 2014.  

 

RELEGATED TEAMS

It is now confirmed that the following teams are relegated from the 2014 Nawetaan: Macdonald City, Falcons, Afia Bi and West Side. 

The Committee has agreed that if any of the relegated teams above wins the Bayba Financial Services Knock-out Competition, the team will be restored to the Nawetaan proper i.e. the team will not be relegated.
