BEM beat Brikama to go joint second

The team from Niumi beat the Saatayba Boys 1 -0   through a Lamin Nyang penalty in the 84th minute. The captain coolly converted the spot kick after Momodou Lamin Marong of BEM was tripped in the box.  The victory raised BEM to 5 points and joint second with Serekunda East in the standings. Their next match is against Sukuta and finally Serekunda East. Brikama at 9 points have long reached the last eight but has a titanic clash for pride against Bakau who are battling for survival to wrap up the group stages.
