BIKO FIGHTS BACK, REAL RETAKES LEAD (Brikama host champions and more in Week 19)

Last week Coach Aboulie Bojang sent a clarion call to the team to settle whatever problems they may have at the training ground to stop the fast degeneration of the team’s fortunes.

The players have seemingly positively responded last weekend by beating Samger by a solitary goal to nothing and moved to 17 points, catching up with Samger but still at the bottom on goal difference.

Elsewhere, Real de Banjul beat Bakau United 3-1 to show supremacy and perhaps settled scores with the Bakau team who grabbed points from Real on appeals. They now moved two points clear of second place Gamtel who drew 0-0 with Hawks. There was another 0-0 draw between Wallidan and Banjul United.

Ports Authority drew one all against Brikama United as Armed Forces beat Interior 1-0.

The league continues into the Week 19 with interesting match-ups. See full fixtures and current standings below.
