Both messages are contained in a congratulatory letter to President Lamin Kaba Bajo on his election to the presidency of the GFF.
In the letter Caf warned that the ban is lifted with the understanding that no further occurrence of age cheating or other punishable things will happen in The Gambia Football Federation. The letter arrived in Banjul as President Bajo was taking office to start a four year reign in charge of football.
The Caf letter followed that of Fifa which also felicitated Bajo.
