Gambia drawn against host Ghana at Deaf Cup of Nations

With the country suspended from all official football competitions internationally, the only Gambian outfit not affected by the international sanctions is the Deaf Scorpions.

Accordingly, the Gambia Deaf Sports Association, GDSA, are keen on gathering support to participate in the Accra tournament. In their latest appeal for help, association president Lamin Ceesay urged all Gambians to donate at least D2 to the project. He also called on the banks and GSM companies to partner the only national team now allowed to compete in international football. “Disability does not mean inability and there is lot of potentials in our team so I urged all to help us prove ourselves,” he said. Interested and prospective donors and partners can reach the association on 77 28 0 92/ 6487779/ 8805599 or [email protected] Below is the African Deaf football Cup of Nations Cup:
