A statement from Football House yesterday said the GFF has confirmed and co-opted six personalities into the new bureau of Gambian football. The press release announced that Alhaji OB Conateh (Fisco) shall continue to serve as honorary life president of the GFF while AlhajiSalifu Jaiteh will serve as the honorary life vice president.
The executive further appointed Alhaji Sosseh Colley as an ordinary member of the GFF. In the same vein, the GFF further said it has appointed the erudite Alhaji Omar Sey as adviser to the executive committee while Mr Bakary Jammeh and Major Musa Jammeh are co-opted members of the executive committee of the GFF with immediate effect.
According to the release, the appointments have been confirmed at a recent executive meeting. Finally according to the release, the much-anticipated first international match after the Caf ban slated for June 12 in Morocco has been called off due to technical reasons.
