The Gambia Football Federation, GFF, has set up a panel to investigate a number of allegations made against it by Real de Banjul Football Club.
According to reliable sources, the panel will look into issues such as whether Real has been unfairly treated over the use of the technical training center as well as the veracity of their claims against the competition department.
Last month, Real de Banjul caused a stir after publicly quarrelling with GFF with a string of allegations and attacks over the GFF’s handling of the abandoned league among other things.
Meanwhile another source has told The Standard that the GFF also is intending or has already started investigating the case of a lost money, from executive member Sadibou Kamaso who claimed the €14,000 got missing from him while travelling to Angola on official mission. He however said he has since started repaying the money. Another area the GFF intended to investigate according our source is a recent incident in which an audio of a top GFF official allegedly recorded by another staff member was leaked on social media.
