In a scintillating scenario of Holland’s World Cup coach Van Gaal’s ushering of Kepper Tim Krul whose individual efforts sent Costa Rica packing, Juventus coach Saihou Gibba sensed their game against Zurich was heading for spot kicks and introduced keeper Baboucarr Ceesay.

His sprinkling pair of hands saved two penalties and he went ahead to score two of his own.

The victory earned them their first trophy in this championship and sent their Talingding fans to Cloud 9.

Zurich’s dominance and failure to score in regular time proved their undoing. Coach Ram Cham admitted his team played better but football does not necessarily follow logic. “We are disappointed it ended like this. This is football.”

Coach Saihou Gibba of Juventus said: “I feel very happy today because this is the trophy we haven’t win in the Sesdo nawettan and it is the first trophy I won in my second year at Juventus.”

The winner collected a giant trophy with D25, 000 while Zurich got D20, 000.
