Handball rivals warn to behave

Last week while presiding over a preseason game between the two, handball president Sheriff Sanyang urged both teams and indeed all teams to abide the rules and behave accordingly. He warned that any act aim at creating violence would not be accepted and would be severely punished.

He further disclosed that once the league starts, matches will be staged in various venues such as the Independence Stadium, Serekunda and Brikama. In the results, Lions’ Heart boys won 23 to 21 but their girls lost heavily to Warriors 21-6
