Man in court for alleged possession of 800kg of Cannabis

By Amadou M Jadama One Karing Sanneh, a resident of Kololi was yesterday arraigned before a court in Bundung for being in possession of 800 kilo grams of cannabis sativa, a prohibited drug. Magistrate Fatou Darboe who presided over the case however granted him bail in the sum of D200, 000 with two Gambian sureties who must swear to an affidavit of means following Mr Sanneh’s plea of not guilty to the charge. LK Bojang who represented the Drug Law Enforcement Agency told the court that the incident happened on July 16 last year at Kololi. Hearing resumes January 12.]]>
