The programing is designed and produced by two Gambians who run an internet service company called Folonk in collaboration with the principal of the school.

Karamo Bojang, the principal of the school said the latest technology is a “very positive move” by the school as it will be beneficial to students, teachers and parents alike. He said that the system has two aspects which include online registration and the School Management System.

“The online registration is a system through which students can apply for admissions to Nusrat Senior Secondary School through the internet by visiting our website at www.nsss.com and click on the button apply. When you apply, the system will ask you to provide your number of the year you wrote your final exams.

The second aspect which is the School Management System allows students to view their results, details of financial transactions, transcripts and it also helps teachers after marking examination scripts. They simply enter marks using mobile phone or any other device that has internet connectivity”.

Principal Bojang said the new system will ease the burden on parents of coming all the way to the school for registrations or for any other transaction. He said teachers also can mark and enter scripts anywhere they are located. The auto-rotation report card and transcript processing.
