The items included a complete set of jerseys, a ball and a pump and two pairs of shoes. The items came through a friendship between the two teams built during a recent trip to Holland by Ebrima Jatta, an official of the team.
Jatta said: “The plan came last year, when I came across Sandra Albert of the Dutch charity Friend Education For The Gambia (Onderwijs Voor Gambia). Her son plays at SV Dwingeloo. She sent me an invitation to pay her a visit, during which I had a chat with her about Nyafullen United and she promised they would try to help us with football materials which will be very useful to our team and here we are receiving the first items,” he said. He thanked Sandra and her family and the team manager of SV Dwingeloo for the items.
Nyafullen United coach Alieu Sanneh said: “We appreciate these materials, coming at the right time during the current nawettan season.”]]>
