They are joined from the group by Manjai, Banjul and SereKunda West while Brufut and Serekunda Central became the casualties in this first round in that group.
Last night Group B played the last round matches with Bakau capitalizing on a new found mood of reconcilation with Brikama to beat the already qualified Saatayba boys 2-0. Bakau had wasted a penalty before Sheikh Tijan Sarr blasted home the first goal, doubled by Osman Corr late in the game to secure a ticket to the last eight for the side that struggled with multiple draws in the group stages.
Serekund East beat BEM 1-0. BEM though are still through since both Sukuta and Gunjur who played a one- nil victory in favour of Gunjur are both below BEM in the standings and are the group’s casualties.
