The Fifa clause that dissolved the GFF

According to the Fifa statement published on their website, the world football governing body acted in accordance with Article 7 part 2 of the Fifa statutes.

Here is what the specific article 7 Part 2 of the Fifa statute says: 

“Executive bodies of Member Associations may under exceptional circumstances be removed from office by the Executive Committee in consultation with the relevant Confederation and replaced by a normalszation committee for a specific period of time.”

Going by the above article and explanations, the Fifa statement is clearly informing The Gambia and the world the GFF has been dissolved and replaced by a Normalisation Committee.
