They are Aboulie Jallow the second vice president of the GNOC and president of Gambia Basketball Association, Ebou L Secka, director of programmes responsible for national associations at the National Sports Council and Charles Thomas, a private sports personality with vast knowledge in sports administration
The three would take fresh investigations into all the problems affecting the body and come out with recommendations. The decision to set up the committee came from a meeting between the NSC and the GNOC as a way of putting an end to the impasse that has gripped the GNOC for three years running. It is hoped that once they start work, the Olympic House which remains shut since two months now will reopen for at least the administration staff to resume work pending a final resolution to the impasse. The NSC chairman, Lamin Kolley while addressing a recent sports gala gave first hints about the plans leading to the setting up of the committee.
