Young Africans relish FA Cup victory

They beat the Brikama outfit and now brace themselves for a possible first division opposition in the quarter finals. “But I think the victory is really a good inspiration for us going into our league match against Seaview yesterday.  It came though out of hard work and real determination. My players were fit and stronger after making good use of the recent stoppage in the league to focus on training,” he said. Young Africans suffered a surprised elimination from the top flight last year but many agree the team’s organisation and determination would see them back at the close of the season as they are one of the leading contenders for promotion to the Gambia’s premier league.
