The death has been announced of Mbaye Corr of Star TV and Radio. He died suddenly yesterday leaving many struggling to come to terms with the loss of a man who was at work hours before his passing.
Corr, a soldier, was until his untimely demise posted at the Military Police, and on secondment at the Star FM/TV as a reporter.
The Gambia Armed Forces paid tribute to him describing him as a dedicated member of the force.
