National Democratic Party (NDP) Leader Kebba Madi Bojang has vowed to make rice, the staple diet of the country, affordable and easy to access.
Speaking at Soma, as he wraps up a week-long tour of the provinces Bojang declared that if elected a bag of rice will not cost more than a D1500 anywhere in the country.
The NDP leader said Gambians have a chance to bring about change and all they need to do is avoid voting for President Barrow in December. But he said he is impressed with what he had seen in Soma and he is hopeful that change will come in December. The Soma meeting also sensitised the public about how to detect and prevent election rigging.
