12 soldiers to face court martial today

Nine soldiers and 3 officials of the national Army will appear before a court martial today at the Yundum Barracks, official sources said.

A few months ago, authorities rounded up a number of soldiers accused of engaging in mutinous and unethical acts.
The military high command said they are part of a group using WhatsApp to spread audio recordings that are “mutinous, defamatory, scandalous, unethical and against the military code of conduct.”
