A 72-year-old man and his 20-year-old daughter from Taifa village in the CRR whose identities are not yet known are reported to have been killed after their car collided with a truck carrying containers in Foni Bwiam.
According to reports reaching The Standard the man and his daughter were heading to Taifa village Central River Region, to attend their NAM’s victory celebration.

“They were going to Taifa village to attend the victory celebration of both the Basse and Kantora National Assembly Members when the accident occurred,” our source said.
The report further indicated that the young lady was to be married this Friday.
Their remains were laid to rest last Sunday in Serekunda.
