The Drug Law Enforcement Agency of The Gambia, DLEAG has announced the arrest of three Gambian nationals with prohibited drugs in the West Coast Region. Abdou Jarju, a resident of Gifanga Village was arrested with two bundles of suspected cannabis sativa and two stones of suspected cannabis resin (hashish). He was apprehended around the Sibanor Health Centre.
Bakary Touray, 37, was arrested at Tanji with forty-five parcels of suspected cannabis sativa and sixty-four pieces of suspected cannabis resin were seized from one Omar Fatty, on the same day at Tanji Nema.

“All three suspects are in custody as investigations continue,” DLEAG said in a statement.
