At least 30 participants have recently benefited from training on good governance and management of the committee.
The training was organised by the National Coordinating Organisation of Farmers Association (NACOFA) held at NACOFA’s sub office in Brikama.

Speaking at the forum, Alieu Sowe, the coordinator of NACOFA, harped on the importance of the training. He said the objective of the training was to organise the women fraternity of NACOFA coming from 16 farmers and forest federations in the Gambia, who are members of NACOFA.
It capacitised the elected officials of the women wing on good governance and management skills in order for the committee to be able to enhance the task given to them during the national congress held in August 2016 in Jarra.|
